Project Brief

This project was commissioned to be all on one level.

The brief from the client was to encompass the land and create multiple garden rooms with the emphasis on luxury living, outside entertainment, embrace and encourage existing and new wildlife.

The main feature is a beautiful olive tree with hand dressed stonework leading up to a well-proportioned Greenhouse, surrounded by raised planters in the kitchen garden. The fruits of the client’s labour are used for cooking and preserving.

The sleek yet rustic pathway leads you to the olive tree. Either side of the path boasts bold statement planting styles.

To the left lush prairie planting punctuated with purple perennials and to the right bold contemporary planting with a tropical feel.

The Garden has two ground level pools where ducks and wildlife bath and take refuge.

Circular decks alongside the pools provide viewing platforms to watch the world go by and enjoy the surroundings.

A large wooden cedar summer house provides entertainment space with a well-designed pizza oven area to entertain and enjoy all year round.

Slick cool grey non slip porcelain flows through the gardens giving a light base to enhance the rich planting.

A built-in bench area with spiky contemporary planting near the house is a space to relax and create extra space for guests.

This vista out to this area is a wildflower meadow, mown to create pathways, cut with contours to the centre.

A project that boasts outdoor living, ecology and serenity .
